The Race Director can, at any time, determine that a vehicle is outside the spirit of the rules.

Super Heap and Heap must use Cosmo Mucho Macho tires or Tiger Paws from previous seasons.

Events will be run rain, shine, or snow — Race Director's Discretion.
Convertibles are allowed — a rollbar and arm restraints are required.
Cars with high rollover risk are prohibited (e.g. tall SUVs) — Race Director's Discretion.
Nitrous is not allowed in any form or fashion on participating vehicles.
The battery must be securely fastened.
Transponders will be securely mounted on all vehicles. The replacement cost of damaged or not returned transponders is $499.
Road Course Rules
Passing is by POINT-BY ONLY
Standard Motorsports Flagging will be in use and must be obeyed. For a refresher course on motorsports flagging, please watch this video produced by the SCCA.
Getting a black flag will require coming in and speaking to the race directors. If a team accumulates three black flags, the car and team will be benched from both the track and the autocross.
Please respect your safety crew and exercise extreme caution when moving around them. Respect your fellow drivers. This is supposed to be a FUN, LAID BACK EVENT! It is not a real race, and there will be absolutely no scouts looking to recruit you!
Claimer Rules
For the $3,000 Heap and $1,000 Super Heap classes, a claimer rule will be in place. That means that if you enter a "cheaty" car (aka. too expensive, too fast, or has thousands of $$ under the hood), your fellow competitors have the right to claim it by paying you either $3,000 or $1,000 + their own car (a swap).
THIS IS NOT A SWAP MEET! The claimer rule is geared towards keeping people honest in bringing cheap, mostly stock cars. We wouldn't want anyone to consider it a way to go home with a better car than what you brought, or a shopping spree. We are honestly hoping that people will filter into the right class for them and there will be very few/no actual claims.
Claims will take place after the event.
We will be supervising the claiming to make sure it's used the way it's intended.
It's at our discretion to determine if a claim is legitimate and will go through. All claims must be approved by KOTH management.
We will not allow someone to blow up their own car and then try to claim another. The Claimer's car must be in similar mechanical condition to the one being claimed.
If you refuse a legitimate claim, you won't be able to compete in claimer classes at future KOTH events.
Everything that happens during KOTH is at Race Director's Discretion. We reserve the right to enforce or not enforce anything as the situation allows. This is not WHEEL to WHEEL RACING — rather a timed event. One situation can ruin the event for everyone, so remember to be courteous while on the track!
